Frequently asked questions

What is Jackdaw Atlas?

Jackdaw Atlas is an unofficial fan-made companion app for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. It provides interactive offline maps and a completion tracker so you can find collectibles and mark them as found.

Is this an official Ubisoft product?

No. Jackdaw Atlas is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Ubisoft. Assassin’s Creed and related marks are trademarks of Ubisoft Entertainment.

Do I need an account?

No. You can browse maps and track found pins on your device without creating an account.

Does the app work offline?

Yes. Map tiles and location data are bundled with the app so you can use it without a network connection. A connection is only needed for optional analytics, crash reporting, and downloading the app or updates.

How do I mark a location as found?

Open a map, tap a pin, then use Mark Found on the detail card. Progress is saved on your device per map and category. Optional auto-advance can move the camera to the nearest unfound pin.

I lost my progress after reinstalling

Found status is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app, restoring from a backup that excludes app data, or switching devices without a transfer can reset progress. If something unexpected happened, contact us with your device model and iOS version.

A pin or map looks wrong

Map data can contain mistakes. Email us a screenshot or description (map name, pin name/type, and what seems incorrect). We use that feedback to improve future updates.

Which devices are supported?

Jackdaw Atlas requires iOS 17 or later on iPhone and iPad.
